IBQS is an umbrella organization of bodies providing accessible Quranic services for the blind and visually impaired persons. IBQS is devoted to improving braille Quran literacy throughout the world, through developing a unified Braille code, providing training in Quranic braille, and distribution of Braille Mushafs and Islamic texts.

Description
In February 2013, a group of organisations were invited to Istanbul by brother Selahattin Aydin of Turkey to discuss the methods of improving Braille Quran literacy throughout the world, primarily through the unification of the Quranic braille code and the distribution of braille Qurans to all blind Muslims in the world, wherever they may be.
Alhamdulillah a new NGO was formed called the International Union of Braille Quran Services (IBQS) registered in Istanbul, Turkey.
IBQS is formed by organizations and individuals from different countries.
